| I was trying to get a small business loan, but they asked me to write a business plan. My mom said it is supposed to be written a certain way, but I have no idea how to do this. Can someone give me some kind of guidelines to go by? Thanks!

There are a lot of books on writing business plans.
The one I used to help build my plan's framework was "Streetwise Complete Business Plan" by Bob Adams. what I liked was that this book gave sample statements for each section so that you can see and better understand what each section is supposed to contain. My final business plan was 27 pages long.

| Thanks! I followed your suggestion, and the book is exactly what I needed to use for a guideline. I had no idea it would be so complicated, but this book makes it easier to understand. Thanks again!

| You're welcome. I just got approved for an SBA loan, waiting to close. But, the bank staff liked the plan and actually told me that very few small businesses think things out this in depth and that it's good to see.
