What financial applications do you use and why?
I started using Microsoft Money Small Business and it handled invoicing and finance tracking well enough, but now that I have been expanding, it does not seem to be as useful. I am looking into other applications with the idea of potential future expansion.

I have used all of the above at one time or another. I voted for quickbooks even though I am not yet using them. Right now my tracking is being done in a custom spreadsheet, but I will be using both that and quickbooks soon.
I used peachtree a long long time ago, but never really liked it.

I'm pretty old school --- I use a custome spreadsheet. I own an online business which generates revenues from ads -- so I don't need any real complicated software. My expense are minimal --- so Excel has served me pretty well. However, if I did need a full fledge program I would use QuickBooks.

Been using a paper method for the most part. However, I think that is about to change. Not sure yet what program I am going to use.

Microsoft has just release a new application, Small Business Accounting 2006 (http://www.microsoft.com/office/accounting/prodinfo/default.mspx). I just got one from Microsoft (I am a SBS partner) and when I get a chance I will install it and see how well it works.
From what I can see, the big selling point is the integration with Outlook and Business Contact Manager. With just Outlook and this new accounting package, I can have what appears to be a full featured accounting and CRM system.

Very interesting new TPT. I had not heard about that at all. I will be very interested in hearing your review of the product when you get a chance to use it.

| I use quicken. Basically because it's the only one I am really familiar with. I may begin using one of the others if I find the time to check them out enough to know if they are ok for me.
