What kind of luck have people had getting their sites listed in DMOZ. I have submitted many of my quality sites but none of them have been listed yet. Anyone have any tips or advice for future submissions?
Is it important to get listed in DMOZ? What kind of benefits have you seen when you got listed?

How long has it been since you submitted your sites? Everything over there is reviewed by humans, so it can take a while.
The obvious benefit is that you are now listed in a PR 9 directory and this will help with your own PR. Im not really sure how much traffic people get directly DMOZ though. Id be interested to find out.

Some sites 6 plus months, other sites a few weeks.
It varies. Would be nice to see if anything happens. Not really sure if there is any real value to being listed in DMOZ or not.

There is definitely value. As I said, a link from a PR 9 page can do a lot of good for your own PR. You know how google works and about basic SEO right?

I agree with CaitSith, there is a great value in being listed on DMOZ. They have a high PR and I suspect that their listings are given more weight because they are all verified by individuals.
