I'm looking for some guidelines on what an acceptable trip charge is, based on travel outside of a certain radius. With the rising gas prices, this is going to become more and more of an issue.
Has anyone added or increased a trip charge?

Morgan,
I'm not sure what the exchange rate is now, but based on your numbers, our fuel costs have increased by about the same percentage in less than 9 months, mostly because of Katrina and Rita. So, it was a sudden hit.
Gas prices are falling gradually, but they are still not at the levels we had just 1 year ago. I really wish BioFuels would take off, that would put a downward pressure on all fuel types.

| Well, for awhile there, I thought the gas prices were going back down, but now they are going up again. I got gas yesterday, and it costs me $2.65 a gallon!
